Arri Alexa 35 Xtreme
The Alexa 35 Xtreme is a major revision of the industries trusted workhorse, known for its superior image quality, ease of use and reliability. Building on it’s predecessor’s solid foundation, the Xtreme introduces powerful new hardware, higher speeds for breathtaking slow motion images and the new data efficient codec ARRICORE. New hardware allows frame rates up to 330 fps while maintaining full dynamic range, and a new codec and Sensor Overdrive mode double the limit to 660 fps.
Delivering 2.5 stops more dynamic range than previous ALEXA cameras, film-like highlight handling, better low light performance, and richer colors. The new REVEAL Color Science takes full advantage of the sensor’s image quality and provides a fast, simple workflow, while ARRI Textures enhance in-camera creative control. Easy operation, robust build quality, new electronic accessories, and a completely new mechanical support system round out the ALEXA 35 platform.
