The Blackmagic Video Assist 7″ 12G HDR is an external monitor and recorder that upgrades the recording and monitoring capabilities of virtually any SDI or HDMI camera. It features an exceptionally bright 2500-nit touchscreen, making it highly viewable in direct sunlight, and supports professional 10-bit recording in Apple ProRes and DNx formats up to DCI 4K at 60 fps.

- Professional Scopes: Built-in waveform, RGB parade, vectorscope, and histogram for accurate exposure and color monitoring.
- Webcam Functionality: The USB-C port can also be used as a webcam output, allowing you to stream 1080p video directly to platforms like Zoom or OBS.
