RED Gemini
The DSMC2 GEMINI is RED’s highest sensitivity sensor, offering significantly increased performance in low-light settings and improved performance in shadows. A DSMC2 GEMINI is capable of data write speeds of 300 MB/s, and can simultaneously record in REDCODE RAW and Apple ProRes or Avid DNxHR/HD.

Sensor Sensitivity modes
Standard: Use in normal shooting conditions in which you would expose near ISO 800. Provides the best highlight retention.
Low Light: Use in lower light conditions in which you would expose for ISO 2500 and higher. Provides the cleanest shadow detail.
Sensor Sensitivity mode is not metadata. Each mode affects the RAW data and is “baked-in” as image data in the recorded file. However, the ISO setting is still captured as metadata and can be adjusted in post-production.
