The Blackmagic Design Videohub Smart Control is a 1RU hardware control panel designed for fast, single-button video routing across an Ethernet network. It is specifically built for “cut-bus” style routing, making it ideal for installation under individual monitors or decks in large broadcast facilities.

- Macro Support: Supports up to 10 programmable macro buttons to trigger multiple simultaneous switching commands.
- Power over Ethernet (PoE): Can be powered directly via its Ethernet connection or through a standard 110-240V AC power input.
- Customisable Labelling: The “crystal look” buttons have removable caps, allowing for easy physical labelling with paper inserts.
- RGB Illumination: All buttons are backlit with high-quality RGB LEDs for clear identification in dark production environments.
- Take Button Function: Can be configured with an optional “take” button (typically the bottom-right button) to confirm a route before it is executed.
