Tiffen 4 x 5.65″ Digital Diffusion filter Set

The Tiffen 4 x 5.65″ Digital Diffusion filters soften and diffuse; designed to reduce the “digital edge” of modern sensors without overtly appearing like a filter has been used. 

• “Invisible” Softening: Unlike other diffusion filters, it is designed to maintain overall sharp focus while subtly smoothing out fine skin details, wrinkles, and textured backgrounds.
• Minimal Impact on Contrast: It offers virtually no flare (halation) or loss of contrast, making it ideal for filmmakers who want a natural look rather than a dreamy or glowing aesthetic.
• No Internal Pattern: Doesn’t feature an internal dot pattern, which prevents artifacts from becoming visible in out-of-focus areas (bokeh) or when shooting with smaller apertures.
• Consistency: Lower densities provide a subtle “film look,” while higher grades increase the softening effect.

Compatibility: Designed for matte boxes like the ARRI LMB-5, LMB-15, LMB-25 and LMB 4×5.
