Schneider 4×5.65″ Classic Soft Filter Set

The Schneider-Kreuznach 4×5.65″ Classic Soft Filter is a designed to emulate the “Old Hollywood” look by blending skin blemishes and wrinkles while maintaining overall image sharpness. Unlike traditional diffusion filters that can overly blur a scene, it uses a proprietary Micro-Lenslet array to overlay a soft image onto a sharp, in-focus one. 

• Skin and Texture: It excels at smoothing skin tones and minimizing fine lines without making the image look “mushy”.
• Highlight Control: In normal exposure, it adds a subtle, confined glow to highlights. Under heavy overexposure (like a “blown” window), it produces a stylish, romantic bloom that helps control contrast.
• Shadow Integrity: Blacks and shadows remain largely untouched, preserving the rich contrast and color fidelity of high-quality modern lenses.

Matte Box Compatibility: Designed for standard matte boxes like the ARRI LMB-5, LMB-15, LMB-25 and LMB 4×5.
