The film is a noir styled psychological suspense thriller with romantic elements. Sexy and suspenseful, it tells the story of an artist who is hired by a nightclub owner to make a portrait of his beautiful wife. As the artist paints, he and his subject fall passionately in love. When the nightclub owner becomes jealous, murderous complications ensue. It’s BODY HEAT meets DOUBLE INDEMNITY.
