Sony PVM-A170 17″ OLED Monitor

The Sony PVMA170 17″ OLED Production Monitor is suitable for both field and studio use. Because of the OLED technology employed, each pixel can be switched completely off–unlike typical LCD displays for a much closer approximation of true black. It can be connected to standard and high-definition video sources via SDI or HDMI, as well as analog standard-definition sources through composite.

  • Display Panel: 16.5″ (diagonal) TRIMASTER EL™ OLED panel.
  • True Black Reproduction: Unlike LCDs, every pixel can be completely turned off to achieve absolute black.
  • Colour Depth: Features a 10-bit driver for high-purity colour reproduction across the entire luminance range.
  • Wide Viewing Angle: Offers the industry’s widest viewing angles (89° in all directions) for a flat-panel monitor, facilitating group monitoring.
  • Portability: 40% thinner and lighter (4.2 kg / 9.23 lbs) than previous models like the PVM-1741A, making it easy for one person to carry.
