The Tango II Swing Head (also known as the Tango Mark II) is a specialised support accessory designed to add a third axis of motion to standard fluid or geared heads. It allows camera operators to rotate a cinema camera 90 degrees (+45° to -45°) around its optical axis, enabling the capture of “Dutch angle” shots while keeping the subject centred in the frame.
Quick Release Locking: Features a mechanism designed to eliminate side-to-side play for more stable shots.
Dual-Sided Brake Lever: The brake lever is accessible from either side of the head, ensuring it remains reachable even with long camera sliding base plates.
Flexible Operation: Includes a flexible shaft adapter compatible with standard ARRI “whips,” allowing the operator to roll the head from the front or back.
Versatile Handling: A removable handle can be fitted to either the front or back of the head to clear large camera builds.
Quick Mounting: It is compatible with the Sachtler Touch & Go automatic locking system and includes an adapter for mini Sachtler plates, making it suitable for both large cinema and smaller video cameras.
