In a move welcomed by the local industry Ray Purnell has moved his company Insight Technical Support up the road and relocated in the Video Australasia building at 20 Whiting Street Artarmon.
Video Australasia MD Warren Day commented “Ray’s a local industry

technical talents."
Ray has experience in the broadcast and professional television industry continuously over the past twenty five years. After his initial traineeship in electronics engineering achieving Honours, and working for a Sydney production house, he joined Sony Broadcast where he was given specific training in the Sony B & P product range with extensive training in the US, UK, Japan and in Sydney and Melbourne.
To compliment his move to Video Australasia, Ray has also completed extensive technical training on the Arri Alexa. “VA are the largest individual owners of Alexa’s in the Australian market,” explained Ray, “so it was important I gain a technical understanding of these excellent cameras to help keep the VA fleet in perfect working order.”
Whilst Ray is based in the
VA building, his company Insight Technical Support will continue to
operate as a separate business. |
