Sony DVW - 970 DIGIBETA - The DVW-970 is based on 2/3-inch Power HAD-EX CCD imaging sensors, and features 14-bit A/D converters for superb picture quality. The new model adds even greater levels of image quality and production flexibility with the availability of 24PsF, 25PsF and 30PsF image capture. This camcorder features a slow shutter feature (up to 16 frames) for "film-like" exposure control, unique effects shooting and extreme low-light shooting, as well as time lapse capture and cache recording capabilities. Providing signal-to-noise ratio of 63dB (PAL) with -145 dB of vertical smear, the new camcorder also offers several option boards for even greater functionality.

Sony DVW - 790 DIGIBETA - This Digital Betacam camcorder will produce some of the finest and most accurate pictures even when used in the factory preset condition. To achieve a more cinematic or film-like look, special attention must be paid to both the camera settings and the appropriate accessories and lenses. Sony DVW - 709 DIGIBETA - The DVW-709WSP is the cost effective widescreen Digital Cinematography tool. It incorporates 2/3-inch (620K) Power HAD IT CCDs with a 16:9/4:3 switchable aspect ratio. This Digital Betacam camcorder will produce some of the finest and most accurate pictures even when used in the factory preset condition. Sony PDW – 530 XDCAM - The PDW-530P, Professional Disc Camcorder, has been designed with special consideration for heavy-duty field acquisition, providing excellent picture quality, operability and reliability inherited from Sony Betacam family of acquisition products. PDW-530P provides excellent picture quality, adapting 16:9/4:3 switchable Power HAD EX CCDs, the same camera block specification as the BVP-E10 studio camera. It features 25Mbps DVCAM, and MPEG IMX recording switchable between 30/ 40 and 50Mbps.

Sony DSR – 450 DVCAM - The DSR-450WSP incorporates 2/3" type Power HAD EX CCD sensors (16:9 aspect ratio). It delivers high imaging quality performance such as high sensitivity (F11 at 2000 lx), high S/N ratio (63 dB) and low smear level (-140 dB). The retractable 2.5" colour LCD monitor can be tilt freely so that it can help the shooting operation at high or low angle. The LCD monitor displays camera picture with characters (like viewfinder), camera picture without characters, or Time Code & Audio Level Meter on black background. The camera also supports a SDI Monitor out.

Sony DSR – 570 DVCAM - The DSR-570WS is equipped with three 2/3-inch type Power HAD WS CCDs, each with a high density of 520,000 pixels (NTSC)/570,000 pixels (PAL). These CCDs were originally designed for the 16:9 aspect ratio, therefore high-quality images can be obtained in the 16:9 mode with virtually no image loss. A high sensitivity of F11 (at 2000 lx, 3200 K), remarkable signal-to-noise ratio of 61 dB*(PAL) and a low vertical smear level of -120 dB are also important specifications of this camcorder.

Sony DVW-90 BETACAM SX - This Betacam SX camcorder is switchable between 4:3 standard and 16:9 widescreen ratios. It is equipped with 2/3-inch 620K switchable 16:9/4:3 Widescreen Power HAD 1000 IT CCDs. It incorporates 10-bit/36 MHz full digital signal processing in the camera section and Betacam SX digital recording in the VTR section.
